Toulouse: French finalist to be European Capital of Innovation in 2018

After being rewarded in its commitment to innovation and scientific research: European City of Science in 2018, Toulouse is running for a new European title: iCapital.

Launched in 2014 by the European Commission, this award recognizes an European city that has provided the most promising efforts to promote and test innovative practices, involve citizens in finding local solutions and create an attractive ecosystem linking decision-makers and businesses.

Toulouse is the only French city selected among the 10 finalists, the prize will be awarded in November.
