Toulouse is the historic site of French aerospace industry with Airbus Group and the National Center for Space Studies (CNES) headquarters. The sector has created 85,000 jobs in 700 companies!
The first serial satellite assembly line was set up in Toulouse (Airbus and OneWeb), and major space projects such as Philae (Rosetta), Curiosity (Mars) and the astronaut mission led by Thomas Pesquet aboard the ISS.
