10th International Conference on the Mesolithic in Europe – MESO’10
[Covid-19 ] Online event from 7th to 11th September 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic makes it impossible to physically hold the congress on site in Toulouse in early September 2020. Local constraints prevent us from postponing it to a later date. In agreement with the International Scientific Committee, we then all decided to keep it on the dates planned, but only at a later date. Precise technical solutions are still under study (notably the choice of informatic tools), but the principles will be those of pre-recorded oral communications, broadcast online, and interactive speaking time (videoconferencing, chat, etc.) at precise times. More precise information will be put online quickly. We are currently working on the possibility of abolishing all registration fees, to make Meso'10 a pioneering model of free, open, free and eco-responsible congress! More information soon.
Every five years since 1973, all specialists of the European Mesolithic gather in a city for a major international congress. At the ninth conference, held in Belgrade (Serbia) in 2015, the participants selected the candidacy of Toulouse (France) for the organization of the Tenth International Conference on the Mesolithic in Europe. This will take place in September 2020.
