Master plan or the developmentof hospitality trade

The master plan for the development of hospitality trade* is a strategic plan for the organization, animation and implementation of the hotel and para-hotel business in Toulouse metropolis.

It plans to double growth in this sector with the creation of 200 rooms per year to reach 1,600 rooms in 2025. These creations will reinforce the existing offer of 11,000 rooms in hotels and residences, 172 establishments with a capacity of more than 42,000 people.

The plan provides a market diagnosis and new trends study. Its objective is to enhance the range of accommodation around targeted areas like the district of Sept-Deniers, Labège Innopole and around the 5 Major Urban Projects of the Territory: Toulouse Aerospace, the new Parc des Expositions, the Oncopole, Toulouse Euro Sud-Ouest with the Occitania Tower, and the sector of La Cartoucherie.

It will promote consultation and coordination between local tourism stakeholders and help to diversify the offer of tourist accommodation (youth hostels, campsites, hybrid accommodation) while enhancing the current stock, especially in the city center.

*Conceived and managed by Toulouse Métropole and its municipalities, in collaboration with local tourism partners & professionals.
