How to reach Toulouse city center from Toulouse Blagnac Airport

To reach Toulouse city centre from Toulouse Blagnac Airport

T2 Tramway line: Airport - Arènes - Palais de Justice
Connects with the metro service at Arènes (line A) and Palais de Justice (line B) stations.
Departures: every 15 minutes. 

Journey time : Airport > Arènes : 21 minutes, Airport > Palais de Justice : 32 minutes.

Tisséo Shuttle Bus: Airport – Coach station
The shuttle bus operates every day except 1st May, with departures every 20 minutes. Journey time: from 20 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.

Taxi 

It takes 15 to 20 mn to reach the city center. A flat rate is applicable, from 25 €

Arriving by Train or Bus

Arriving by train from Toulouse Matabiau railway Station located in the city center and directly connected to the metro, bus, airport shuttle, Toulouse Bike... Matabiau station is connected in 4h10 of Paris, 4h of Lyon, 3h53 of Marseille, 3h27 of Barcelona, 2h15 of Montpellier and 2h08 of Bordeaux.

Arriving by car

Toulouse is the center of network of highways:

  • To the north, Hwy A62 from Bordeaux and Hwy A20 from Paris 
  • To the west, Hwy A64 from Biarritz,
  • To the south Hwy A66 from Barcelona
  • To the west, Hwy A61 to Montpellier and Hwy A68 to Albi.

Public transportation

Toulouse metropolitan transport system can ease your movements around the city and surrounding area.

The Tisséo network includes 2 metro lines, 2 tram lines, 101 bus services (including 7 Linéo), 5 on-demand services and serves over 80 communes.

Tisséo tickets are valid for use on the whole network. For those arriving by plane, a shuttle links the airport to the city centre and the train station.

Go cycling

VélÔtoulouse is the self-service bike scheme for the city of Toulouse. More than 280 automatic rental stations are at your service. They can be found more or less every 300 metres throughout the city centre.

The service is self-service, open 24/7. You can choose the formula that suits your journey: 1 day ticket, 7 day ticket... free to use for the first half hour.
